A few weeks back, we noted that Toronto quartet the Darcys were releasing a free album covering every song on Steely Dan’s seminal Aja. They whetted our appetite with “Josie” and now the full thing is available.

The band brings a significantly more electronic vibe, with drum patters and keyboards replacing much (though not all) of the original’s funk guitar and gospel choruses. Sample the recording with “Peg” below, then download the full set at the Darcys’ website.
