Bob Dylan doesn’t change his setlists much anymore. In fact, on his recent UK and European tour, he played the exact same setlist every single night…except one. The day it was announced Jerry Lee Lewis passed away, Dylan returned to the stage after his usual finale “Every Grain of Sand.” As anyone who’s read his new book knows, Bob knows his music history. Avril Lavigne & All Time Low – All the Small Things (Blink 182 cover)

One way you can tell millennials are getting old: There are now nostalgia-bait festivals catering to the music of their (our) youth. Such was the case with When We Were Young, the emo and pop-punk fest in Vegas a couple weeks ago with Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Bright Eyes, and dozens more. A video high point is this extremely fun and infectious cover of “All the Small Things” by All Time Low and Avril Lavigne, performed right after Blink 182 announced they were getting back together. The A's He Needs Me

The A’s are a new collaboration between Amelia Meath of Sylvan Esso and Alexandra Sauser-Monig of Daughters of Swords. The pair have already made music together as two-thirds of another close harmony-focused act, Mountain Man. But for the A’s debut album—Fruit, set to be released on July 15th, the focus is exclusively on cover tunes. Accompanying the album and overall project A’s announcement is a surreal take on “He Needs Me,” written by Harry Nilsson and performed initially by Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl in Popeye.
