Daisy Grenade is an American pop-punk duo from New York, New York. Recently, the duet decided to put a spin on one of Sabrina Carpenter’s most popular tunes: “Taste.” The artists wrote, “On a song so clearly about two women, we thought, let’s make this into a duet – what if they’re talking back to each other?”

The end result is a high-octane, genre-swapped cover. This version of the tune begins with taunting vocals and wailing guitars… As it ramps up, we get classic pop-punk harmonies,  a la Avril. There’s something oddly satisfying about this version, with its bold feminine belted vocals, heart-beat-like kick drums, and freshly-penned and fiery guitar solos.
