Every once in a while, a band will throw in a cover or two to their live shows. Mac DeMarco couldn’t limit his cover choices, so he decided to squeeze as many as he could into a punch-drunk medley.

DeMarco’s medley is sloppy but charming, leaving odd pauses for the Bloomington, Indiana crowd to cheer and wonder what is going to happen next. When someone mashes the likes of The Police’s “Message in a Bottle,” Neil Young’s “Unknown Legend,” Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff,” Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s “Takin’ Care of Business,” and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” you can’t really know what to expect, especially when said someone sticks in phrases about sucking his cat’s dick at any chance he gets. Listen to the marathon of covers below in their disheveled entirety.
