One of the highlights of every edition of the Bonnaroo music festival is the Superjam, which brings a unique group of artists together to play together, do some covers and generally have a fun, loose, good time. This year’s version of the Superjam was curated by Kesha and presented under the headline of “Kesha Presents: Superjam Esoterica: The Alchemy of Pop.”
Showing up after his set was “Weird” Al Yankovic, who performed Sia‘s “Chandelier,” in his unique and always enjoyable style. (Al previously played the festival in 2013.) Also performing at the Superjam were Margo Price, who sang with Kesha on The White Stripes‘ “Seven Nation Army” and The Rolling Stones‘ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.” Other acts on the bill included Del Water Gap, Chromeo, flipturn and Boy Throb.
Yankovic also reappeared at the end of the jam, to sing along with the other performers on a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain,” which, fittingly, ended with rain falling on the crowd.
