Black Crowes

The Black Crowes, currently on the road promoting their new album, A Pound of Feathers unveiled another Rolling Stones song, this time at their stop in Camden, New Jersey.

Prior to the tour’s start, they released a cover of “Star Star” alongside tourmates Whiskey Myers. Then at a stop in Japan, they busted out a cover of “Bitch.” And now at a recent show in New Jersey, they returned to The Stones’ 1972 album, Goat’s Head Soup and debuted a version of “Dancing with Mr D,” that album’s opener.

The Crowes offer up a take on the song that you’d expect from any skilled, Stones-admiring band. That same show, they also played The Velvet Underground‘s “Oh, Sweet Nuthin'” with guitarist Rich Robinson on lead vocals.

The band’s “Southern Hospitality” tour is now headed over to Europe. They’ll be back in the US and back out on the road mid-July.
