Baltimore-based band Turnstile appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Lounge and included in their set a cover of Inside Out’s “Burning Fight.”
Turnstile played “I CARE” and “DULL” from their 2025 album, NEVER ENOUGH. And then in keeping with the show’s tradition, they tackled a cover. They chose to perform “Burning Fight” from Inside Out’s 1990 EP No Surrender. The record was the only one released by Inside Out and it came out the year before the band’s singer, Zack de la Rocha left to form Rage Against the Machine.
The song sounds like a Rage song, just without the input that Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford would add. The song is a hard and heavy journey including changing tempos and anger.
You can watch the video of the performance below, and, if you need to catch them live this summer, you’ll definitely have a chance. They’ll be performing at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Austin City Limits.
