The original “Somethin’ Stupid” by Nancy and Frank Sinatra was released in ’67, and is often described as pop-meets-bolero. Now, in 2026, two artists from completely different spheres have decided to join forces to recreate the amorous song. So what happens when Josh Homme, frontman of Queens of the Stone Age, pairs up with the jazzy-folky genre-bending vocals of Norah Jones? A quaint duet!
Gentle plucky piano begins to dance with a twangy yet intricate guitar. As the video pans further out, we can see the artists sitting at home with their respective instruments. Jones and Homme’s voices begin the first verse. Inside this cover, there are many facets of genres that peek through. There’s the brightness of folk-country, which fades into a tango edge. Commenters are equally as surprised, remarking, “The most unexpected collaboration!” and “My heart is simultaneously melting and singing.”
This fresh version of “Somethin’ Stupid” was recorded live during the taping of the Norah Jones Is Playing Along Podcast.

Actually, the original Something Stupid was by Carson & Gaile, but the most famous version (until now?) was by Frank and Nancy. Thanks for posting this.
