Every night on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour, there is a part of the show where she plays a musical version of “Spin the Bottle.” Whatever song the bottle lands on, that’s what Carpenter and her band will play.
At her March 16th concert in London, the bottle landed on “Come on Eileen,” and Carpenter performed the song for the first time. And, as is par for the course at Carpenter’s shows, the crowd (and Carpenter herself) had a great time singing the classic. The original version of the song, of course, was performed by Dexy’s Midnight Runners and originally released in 1982 (17 years before Carpenter was born.) Past stops on the tour has led to performances of “Mama Mia!” by ABBA, “Superfreak” by Rick James and “Material Girl” by Madonna.
