At the hometown stop on his No Place Like Home tour, Jack Harlow unveiled two meaningful covers with special dedications to each. Harlow performed at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts’ Whitney Hall, accompanied by the Louisville Orchestra on November 29th.
Harlow performed “Fly Me to the Moon,” which was made famous by Frank Sinatra in a 1964 recording. (The song was originally written by Bart Howard in 1954.) Harlow dedicated the song to Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, who was re-elected earlier in November.
Later on in the set, Harlow covered “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and dedicated it to his father, Brian. The song, was written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore and George David Weiss and made famous by Elvis Presley with his 1961 recording of the song.
Harlow has two more dates scheduled for December, before taking the rest of the year off. You can watch fan-shot videos of both covers below.
