Meet Palm Ghosts. The dream-pop-infused 4-piece band is best known for their dark yet ethereal alternative sound. The artists covered the Radiohead song “No Surprises” for charity Cover for a Cause. The proceeds for the song will go to The Well, which is “A community of women being transformed through long-term relationships, practical programs, and the healing power of love.”
“No Surprises” is Palm Ghost’s fourth Cover for a Cause tune this year, and it certainly shows. The surprisingly upbeat version features strong guitars (doubled by a bright glockenspiel) and showcases a deep vocal delivery. The music video is equally as interesting and includes psychedelic scenes of goldfish against mechanical backdrops, and a trippy man with a third eye.
