The Jonas Brothers paid tribute to One Direction member Liam Payne, who passed away in October. The group performed One Direction’s 2014 hit “Night Changes” at their recent concert in Highland, California.

The Jonas version was somber and respectable, started by Nick Jonas on an acoustic guitar, with brothers Kevin and Joe coming in for the second verse. Their trademark harmony shone during the chorus and on the fan-shot video, you can hear much of the audience singing along.

“Night Changes” was the second single released from One Direction’s fourth album Four. It was written by One Direction along with Jamie Scott, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan. It is currently the most-streamed One Direction song on Spotify. Liam Payne died on October 16th, when he fell from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires.
