Believe it or not, holiday music season is already upon us. And Kesha is one of the first out of the gate this year with a cover of the 1980’s Lindsey Buckingham classic, “Holiday Road.” The song was originally featured in the hit film Vacation starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo.
Kesha’s cover is part of the Spotify Singles Holiday Collection, which features exclusive cover songs by all sorts of artists. This version is a little poppier than the Buckingham original and features vocoder and a electric drumbeat propelling the song. It is produced by Zhone, who also worked on Kesha’s latest hit, “Joyride.”
