Archer Marsh is a composer and arranger whose work has recently been released in the Bridgerton season 3 soundtrack. One surprising song selection: “Give Me Everything,” by Pitbull.
This Pitbull cover starts out with lush violins, and gradually builds up to add in cellos and bass.If you’re familiar with Bridgerton, this style of orchestration is no surprise. Whereas Pitbull, Neo, and Afrojack’s 2011 original was pumping dance-pop, this version is purely ballroom-worthy. Marsh’s iteration of “Give Me Everything” is dramatic, pulling, and flawless. And by choosing an older pop song, the cover has gained a certain sense of nostalgia (especially for millennials).
Marsh wrote: “Getting to rearrange Pitbull’s ‘Give Me Everything’ was so much fun! A fantastic track, with a bunch of energy! To have it used on Bridgerton is so cool! I’m grateful to everyone involved who has made that happen!’”
