To promote the release of their new album The Valley of Vision, Atlanta rock band Manchester Orchestra appeared on SiriusXM to perform a cover of Cher’s massive club hit “Believe.”

Reduced to just a solitary vocal and soft keyboard, the track takes on a sad, yearning melancholy. Frontman Andy Hull knows he doesn’t have to sing hard here, his breathy and almost shallow echoing vocal communicating the emotion perfectly. The keys are perfectly spaced apart, adding a sense of weight but also space to the track.
