Postmodern Jukebox, also known as PMJ, is a musical group spearheaded by pianist and musical genius Scott Bradley that performs covers of pop hits from yesterday and today. While the featured artists of each cover change, their sound remains consistent: Groovy retro jazz.
In their latest cover, the group took on Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” with vocal star “Sweet Megg.” Megg’s singing is supported by two guitars, upright bass, drums, and of course, piano. Postmodern Jukebox placed this tune in a western style. The timbre of the hollow body guitar combined with the emphasis on the backbeat made my head bop- Check it out here!
