Ghostly vocals and dreamy acoustic guitar strums melt together to form raw and emotional covers – such is the style of mysterious New York musician Radiochaser, who drew us effortlessly in with his chilling covers of Taylor Swift, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Selena Gomez earlier this year.

The enigmatic Brooklyn-based artist returns, this time around with a mellow rendition of Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk,” taken from the former One Direction star’s 2016 solo studio debut Mind of Mine. Staying true to his trademark, Radiochaser reworks the tune, doing away with the original downtempo electronic arrangement and rebuilding it from the ground up, showcasing his gentle croon and soothing guitar acoustics.

“If pop songs could die, this is what I imagine their souls would sound like,” Radiochaster writes. I could not agree more. Have a listen down below.
