The Swedish sister duo may be a lot of things, but afraid to approach a song from a different angle is definitely not one of them.
First Aid Kit’s appearance on Triple J’s Like a Version this month resulted in a fun and playful rendition of Jack White’s ‘Love Interruption’. The sisters, never ones to shy away from the act of covering, expertly weave their way through the song, showcasing their signature harmonies and overall country-inspired roots. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that First Aid Kit is so comfortable in their covers – the duo has been at the game for a while now and do in fact owe most of their international fame to their breath-taking folk renditions.
