Earlier last month, Chicago house legend Frankie Knuckles passed away at the age of 59. In homage to a man they considered to be of great influence to their music, Brit-rock chameleons The Horrors covered the classic hit “Your Love.”

“This is a track that we’ve always loved and the man partially responsible died recently,” frontman Faris Badwan said beforehand. “It’s a classic record, one of the best Chicago house records ever.”  The cover takes place around the 18 minute mark of Zane Lowe’s show. The Horrors take this house jam and turn it into a space drone fuzz that still makes you want to get up and dance.

The Horrors just released their new album, Luminous, last week. Check it out on the band’s website.
