It seems that every website and their mom now has some sort of cover series. Vevo’s take, “Unexpected Covers,” has launched with some pretty fantastic covers, most notably Passion Pit lead singer Michael Angelakos recent take on fun.‘s “Carry On.”
Angelakos picked the song because he believes it “is one of the prettiest songs on the radio.” Backed by four female vocalists and a sparse piano, Angelakos’ take on the anthem is sweet and sincere. Watch the cover below:
