The idea of Bob Seger today may invoke images of lighters being held up, well-worn jeans, and a general feel of old school Americana nostalgia. San Francisco based rocker Ash Reiter updates Seger’s coming of age classic “Night Moves” and manages to keep the sentimentality of the original.

The Bay-based band adds a twee reverb, making the song somehow more accessible to a younger audience. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with hanging out with your Dad and listening to the original, but for the 21st century, be sure to check out (and download!) this cover.
