If you grew up in the 90s you’ll remember Hanson as the blonde brothers topping the charts and winning the hearts of young women all over the world, and they sure aren’t ready to call it quits anytime soon. The boys stopped by the Fifi and Jules radio show in Australia last week to play some of their hits, (old and new), and they surprised listeners with an awesome Taylor Swift cover. The guys did an acoustic cover of Swift’s mega-hit “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together” that reminds us all why they stole our hearts so many years ago.
The brothers, Taylor, Isaac and Zac, have a little fun with this one, playing along with only a guitar and a keyboard. While they do leave out Swift’s conversational interlude, audiences probably won’t notice because their cover is catchy and fun in its own right. Swift herself even took to her Twitter after hearing it to rave about the brothers acoustic rendition. While it isn’t the first cover we’ve heard of Swift’s breakup song, it is definitely deserving of all its attention. One can only hope that this is a sign of more good things to come from the brothers.
