Thanks to music blog Southern Souls and creative mastering studio Mojito, the world has met indie bliss in the form of a collaboration between The Elwins and Luke Lalonde of Born Ruffians fame. The two came together at the Verge Music Lab to record a skilled performance of Beyoncé’s “Countdown,” the first in a cover series called “The Mojito Sessions.”
Luke Lalonde and The Elwins’ lead singer Matthew Sweeney show off their singing chops by nailing the far-from-easy vocals, while the rest of The Elwins crew support them with chill, reggae-like rhythmic guitar strumming, lively drumming, and smooth bass playing. Check out their awesome collaboration for yourself below! (via Indie Music Filter)
