George Lewis Jr., better known as Twin Shadow, can easily be described as “cool.” His music is saturated with synth, intimate lyrics, and an overall dreamy quality. Although his recent cover of Peter Gabriel‘s “Here Comes The Flood” is stripped down to a piano and his voice, the cool factor only seems to go up.
The cover was filmed in L.A.’s landmark Chateau Marmont, where Lewis Jr. was DJ-ing for Mulberry’s Mix Tape Tour. The video is shot beautifully and makes the performance all the more intimate. Watch the soulful cover below or on YouTube.
