If you are a good Cover Me reader – or if you haven’t been living under a rock for the past year – you know that Adele has been covered by everyone and their mother. Her songs are hard to resist to new and veteran artists alike. For newer and under-the-radar artists, it is a good way to show off their vocal chops. LA-based Crowd Theory takes advantage of the popularity of the British songstress with their “Someone Like You” cover.
While the cover isn’t exactly anything new, it is nice to hear the singers harmonize on the chorus. The black and white video fits the angsty and heartbroken mood of the original tune. As we’ve said, we’ve seen a ton of Adele covers in the past – how do you think this one measures up?
