At 7:47, “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” is the second-longest song in the Beatles‘ category (“Revolution 9” comes in on top). Seven minutes is pretty paltry compared to seventeen though, which is how long the Flaming Lips made it when they played it on New Year’s Eve.

Wilco axemaster Nels Cline joins in for the roaring, trippy, zonked-out party. The performance occurred at the end of an all-Beatles encore and Consequence of Sound noticed this new pro-shot footage. After their “I Am the Walrus” cover and their “Revolution” cover, the band is on a roll. Settle in and enjoy.
