Arcade Fire covers have abounded since the release of The Suburbs in 2010. A few months ago we put together a tribute with some of the best Suburbs covers, but more keep cropping up. The latest comes from Arcade Fire’s fellow Canadians Cuff the Duke, who take on the album’s title track, following up on their recent Dum Dum Girls cover.

Arcade Fire’s “Suburbs” is a wistful, dreamy centerpiece to a record about childhood nostalgia. Cuff the Duke infuse it with an alt-country sound and grungy guitar that give their version a more urgent, energetic vibe. Any band taking on an Arcade Fire cover has big shoes to fill, but Cuff the Duke provides a solid reimagining of the track. Download it below.
