Last year to celebrate Halloween, Amanda Palmer held a Dresden Dolls reunion show in New York City. This year she hit the other coast, appearing on a taping of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She brought along Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields, Moby, and husband Neil Gaiman for a cover of Rocky Horror’s “Science Fiction/Double Feature.”
The unorthodox quartet perform an adorably ramshackle version of the tune, with Palmer and Merritt on ukulele, Moby on guitar, and Gaiman on minimal (very minimal) keys. Palmer seems to scare the unprepared crowd when she joins them, while Merritt frightens everyone at home with his strange outfit. The show also featured Ferguson, a rabbit puppet, and a robot named Geoff singing “There’s a Light Over at the Frankenstein Place,” which you can view here. (via the Audio Perv)
