Way back in June 2010, the Gaslight Anthem performed their ripping cover of Pearl Jam’s “State of Love and Trust” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. A year and a half later, they’re finally releasing a studio recording. It comes on their mostly-covers iTunes Sessions EP, which also includes takes on the Who, Tom Petty, and a traditional classic.

The Pearl Jam cover is streaming at Rolling Stone and we’ve collected videos of the others below. They’ve been playing all the tracks for a while now, but hearing them as a full produced package should be a treat. Prepare yourself with some of those live performances, followed by the full tracklist.

  1. These guys are really great songwriters.. they kinda sound like a mix of Bruce Springsteen and Social Distortion.. And they can obviously pull off awesome covers. The songwriting makes their modern sound very unique and really fuckin awesome. They just rock and leave an imprint on ya.. Really dig em a lot!!
