When we posted our first cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games” a few weeks ago, we predicted we’d be hearing many more in short order. Nailed that one. Just last week Bombay Bicycle Club covered it at the Live Lounge, and now, on their visit to the Lounge, beloved British rockers Kasabian did as well.
The quintet delivers an acoustic version that doesn’t change the tempo or template a lot, but brings out the haunting melody even more than the original. We’d say it’ll get stuck in your head, but after the past few weeks, it probably is already. Listen to the latest “Video Games” below.
