Two months ago, we heard Wilco celebrate their new label with, appropriately enough, a cover of Nick Lowe’s “I Love My Label.” Now the band has released a video for the song. It’s basically just a studio clip of the band recording the song in their Chicago loft but, as anyone who’s ever seen them live can attest, there are worse things to do than watch these guys play.
Hardcore fans might particularly dig the little studio details. For instance, the song chart detailing the recording progress for to their soon-to-be-released The Whole Love. It seems they hadn’t gotten very far when this was filmed. Envy their hangout spot or just enjoy the clip to get you through your Wednesday.
