To the contemporary club kid, the song title “Gypsy Woman” may not hold a lot of merit. Little Dragon’s recent rendition, however, may have reignited the spark for the 1991 Crystal Waters hit.

Little Dragon, who just released their third studio album Ritual Union last week, helped kick off BBC Radio 1’s Ibiza music marathon over the past weekend with a short set hosted by DJ Annie Mac. Front woman Yukimi Nagano announced to the crowd that the band was going to play a “club classic” as they burst into the cover. Nagano brings her usual cool and sultry vibe to the jam, and it oddly compliments the kitsch house feel of the original. To top it off, the cover then drifts into an interlude of another 90s hit, “Show Me Love” by Robin S.
