TV themes have a way of worming their way into your brain. You probably have dozens, if not hundreds, lurking back in the far reaches, ready to spring back forth the moment someone says, “It’s a rare condition.” Still, you’ve probably forgotten all about many of the theme songs you loved when you were younger. Well, Unouomedude didn’t. The Florida chillwave-ish pop artist covered a whole bunch of them, and released the set as a free download.

“I like to think about my memories from 1995-2004,” he said in an interview with Rebel. “I was watching some shows from that time and I realized how much theme songs have influenced me. I had the Lizzie McGuire theme song stuck in my head, so I learned it and recorded it in less than an hour. I realized all of the things I could learn about myself by learning songs by ear and recording them all in under an hour. So I figured I’d make a series of it.”

Now he’s released that full series under the title Theme Song Covers: Season 1. He tackles the songs you forgot you loved from Pepper Ann, Malcolm in the Middle, Lizzie McGuire, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, As Told By Ginger, Daria, and even Degrassi High. We’ve got a few of our favorites below, but you can download the full set here. Thanks for Friends with Both Arms for the tip.
