You can’t get far reading the indie blogs this summer before stumbling across Danish punk quartet Iceage. Unknown until a couple months ago, they burst on the scene with a “Best New Music” rating from Pitchfork and have been everywhere since.

On a recent tour, they stopped in at the WFMU studios for a mini-set, playing seven songs in 14 minutes. Two of those songs were covers of Danish bands that haven’t gotten the Pitchfork bump: Marching Church and Sexdrome. The two tunes hit fast and furious, displaying in a sterile radio setting the energy that has so quickly earned them a reputation as a live act not to miss. Download both below, via WFMU.
