Last week, with a full moon as the backdrop, psychedelic rockers The Flaming Lips took the stage surrounded by the graves of many dead celebs at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The band performed a live take on Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, doing so in the framework of Dark Side of the Rainbow, the pairing of the 1973 album with the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

Included in their fun and joyous concert rituals of lasers, bubbles, balls and props o’plenty were dancing Dorothys and tapping tinmen. Opening with “Eclipse” into “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” the band continued to perform the entire Dark Side of the Moon album, as they have several times in the past. As fans danced on graves, “We’re Off to See the Wizard” reminded the audience of the wonderful things Wayne Coyne does. Electronic musician and performance artist Peaches made a guest appearance and cranked out an amazing version of the wordless melody on “The Great Gig in The Sky.” Check out the entire concert, divided into nine parts, in the playlist below.
