For Record Store Day, Franz Ferdinand’s record label Domino released a limited edition vinyl of Franz cover songs, including this electro-rave cover of “Turn It On” done by Peaches. Peaches, who is known for her overtly sexual lyrics and performances, amps up anything that can be interpreted in an erotic manner and does so exponentially.

In the original, Franz Ferdinand lead singer Alex Kapranos conceals the blatantly carnal lyrics behind his polite British delivery. Peaches wastes no time trying to subtly seduce the listener, instead making the words loud and clear. The new video, directed by Nice & Polite, involves flashing lights, colors, and an odd combination of floating objects and text that are ultimately coming from a woman’s chest. Rocky Horror lips and white-glove snapping only up the camp factor.
