Apparently, it’s not just the cool kids still wearing flannel that only listen to old Weezer. Parisians calling themselves Kiki and Guigui split their time playing with hardcore bands and working on what they describe as “all fun,” or their band Total Warr. Luckily for us, the duo opted for the playful side when covering the already very tongue-in-cheek tune Weezer b-side, “Jamie.”

Complete with whistles, shakers, and layered vocals, this ode seems more camp-filled than strictly sentimental. This works in Total Warr’s favor, as the original lyrics are already goofy enough as it is. This little pop gem is just a taste of Total Warr’s sound, which Kiki says is something  “you could play sitting around a fire at the beach with your feet in the sand.”
