Yes, just last week we told you about five excellent covers of Lady Gaga‘s ‘Born This Way.’ Our latest addition to the list introduces us to New York’s own I Love Monsters. The quartet formed in 2008 and since then have been rocking out in live shows, as well as having their songs featured on prominent television shows.
I Love Monsters takes a different direction with ‘Born This Way’ and unplugs their guitars, strips down the drum kit and takes the show on the road. The result is an infectious acoustic pop romp that gets some dancing in the streets and stops others in their tracks (particularly one lovely gal at the end). Their video also works as a lovely tour of New York, with I Love Monsters as our guide. If only we encountered more street musicians so enjoyable. Tap your toes and savor the city below.
