British electropop musician Vincent Frank, aka Frankmusik, had a good February. He announced that he will be producing the new Erasure album, surprise-released two free EPs on his website, and Saturday night took to Facebook to drop this new cover. It’s Men Without Hats’ immortal “Safety Dance,” one of the band’s many smash hits.

Just kidding! The band that might define “one-hit wonder” if you’d never heard the word “Macarena,” Men Without Hat’s cheese-tastic ‘80s earworm proves as catchy as ever under Frankmusik’s forward-thinking production: some Lady Gaga pop mixes with monster-like industrial effects lurking underneath the shiny surface. Download it below.

  1. Better electropop cover is the Echoing Green’s version. Here it is on youtube. Ignore the youtuber calling it a remix…it’s their cover version.
