Like many bands that have some sort of nature reference in their name, Dry The River is yet another up-and-coming acoustic/folk act. Instead of being shuffled in with all the other wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve semi-acoustic acts, however, Dry The River steps up their game not only by covering Wolf Parade‘s “You Are A Runner and I Am My Father’s Son,” but by also taking a part in the Yellow Bird Project.

The Yellow Bird Project, according to their website, is a nonprofit that works “with an amazing range of indie rock musicians to create unique t-shirt designs that benefit an array of charities, each chosen by the musicians.” Dry The River chose to support Asylum Aid, which helps provide specialist legal aid to those seeking asylum in the U.K. Aside from creating a killer t-shirt, the band also covered the Wolf Parade classic and did so in a tone very true to the original. Watch the video below not only to check out the cover, but also to ogle all of the YBP gear the whole band is sporting.
