At Cover Me, we like to give stuff away. Read on to learn how that stuff can be yours.

Back in October, we reviewed Subterranean Homesick Blues (A Tribute to Bob Dylan's 'Bringing It All Back Home') when it was only a digital release. Now, we're giving away five copies of the brand-new vinyl version, courtesy of Reimagine Music. Kids, believe us (and your parents) when we tell you it sounds even better on wax. Read on to find out how to win.
No secret by now vinyl records are making a comeback. The raw, gritty sound from a record player far surpasses that of your laptop speakers. It also encourages you to listen to an album in its entirety, the way it was meant to be. Subterranean Homesick Blues (A Tribute to Bob Dylan's Bringing It All Back Home) is the kind of record that should be listened to from beginning to end. Artists take on the electric first half, following it up with the acoustic second half paying homage to Mr. Dylan's original album ordering.
Jim Sampas, the album's producer and owner of Reimagine Music told Cover Me that the vinyl release added to the authenticity of the reworking of this legendary piece, “The warmth and full sound of analog is something I'm happily addicted to. We're all listening to mp3s and CDs sure, but sometimes you just need to hear the full, distorted, sound – blemishes and all, that's rock and roll.” Keep an eye out for our review of Reimagine's upcoming alt-country Rolling Stones tribute.
In the meantime, enter to win one of five copies of the LP! To enter, post your name, email address, and favorite Dylan song in the comments section below. Sorry, but due to shipping costs, this contest is restricted to U.S. residents. Winners will be selected randomly in one week. Contest closed.
