One of the first early signs of this blog’s success was when it passed BruceSpringsteen.net in Google ranking for a search of “Cover Me.” Friendly SEO competition aside though, we’re forever indebted to Springsteen for the title. So any chance we get to post Cover Me (the song) on Cover Me (the blog), we’ll probably take.

The Boombox Hearts’ “Cover Me” cover is a particularly good one though – one of the best we’ve heard. It starts off spare and acoustic, proving once again that every Springsteen song becomes unbearably sad when sung with an acoustic guitar. Slowly it expands, to include a muted trombone and what sounds like a xylophone. Does the Boss proud; does the blog proud. Check it out below.
