We have heard several amazing renditions of Drake‘s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” (and seen a few, too – does Starbucks Drake Hands count?) Most recently, up-and-coming New York duo ASTR pulled out some slick synth and dripping female vocals with their take on one of the most popular tracks of 2013.
The duo gives the pop ballad a softer spin with Zoe Anna’s delicate vocals, but still keeps the ache of the original and puts it in the female perspective, with Zoe singing that she’s “a good girl and you know it.” If you are a fan of glossy, synth-heavy pop and staying hung up on exes, this cover is for you.
