In support of their latest release, …Like Clockwork, California rockers Queens of the Stone Age stopped by BBC’s Radio 1 Live Lounge. In a very bizarre move, Josh Homme and company covered Robin Thicke‘s feel-good chart-topper, “Blurred Lines.”

The band took a very California take on the original, swapping out pill bottles for maracas and acoustic guitars in place of funk-heavy beats. Although Homme stumbles through some of the lyrics (despite having them printed out in front of him), there is something to the novelty of this cover. Check it out below:
