The Hollows are a roots-rock group of multi-instrumentalists; a freewheeling hootenany of a band. A veritable junkyard of mandolins, banjos, guitars, accordions, horns, harmonicas, and various other musical doodads are in constant rotation. With no frontman (or six frontmen), everyone writes and arranges material, creating a diverse and uniquely blended sound.

From the band’s Facebook page “Our love affair with The Band continues… here’s an acoustic version of “The Weight” we shot in our rehearsal space for Relix.com in tribute to Levon Helm.”  The Hollows follow up last year’s debut album, Belong to the Land with a self-titled EP on June 26.
