Monkeying around is hardly a new concept for the endlessly wild King Khan, but the term takes on a more literal meaning than ever in his new video. It’s a cover of Jay Reatard’s debut solo single “Hammer I Miss You” that features a whole mess of monkey-mask madness.
Khan delivers the tune with his new post-Shrines, post-BBQ band the King Khan Experience. They translate the song into German for whatever reason and proceed to wreck havoc on an abandoned parking garage. Like much of King Khan’s output, it’s nuttiness for its own sake, and more fun than a barrel full of…you know. Watch it below, then download the full EP for free at Soundcloud.
