Last year, we named A Place to Bury Strangers’ raging “Suffragette City” one of the Best Covers of 2010. Now the Horrors have taken a stab at the David Bowie classic, and while we don’t think it’ll make any “best of” lists – their Beyoncé cover is better – the beloved British boys deliver as always.

The band recorded the cover for Club SEAT. They go for a direct retro-psych approach, fitting the Ziggy Stardust cut right into the Horrors mold. Joshua Hayward’s too-brief guitar solo proves a highlight, as does that old-school echo. Watch and download it below. (via SEAT)
