Back in July, we premiered Anna Rose’s breathtaking new cover of Arcade Fire’s “My Body Is a Cage.” She’s now released a music video for the track and it adds another layer to the quiet heartbreak.
The clip begins with some standard shots that establish a dead-end relationship with a loser boyfriend. Cue moody driving shots, soft-focus close ups, and apartment arguments. Things take an unexpected twist while filling up at a gas station though, making you wonder if all the emotional drama was really what it seemed. Watch the video below.
