Yesterday we got our first peek at Q Magazine’s upcoming Achtung Baby tribute in the form of Jack White’s howling “Love Is Blindness.” Today we hear a second, much quieter sample. It’s Damien Rice performing a spare “One” and it will utterly break your heart.

Rice’s quiet anguish instantly recalls O and 9, making us wish he’d get moving on a follow up. U2 has turned this song into a global peace anthem, but Rice’s delivery couldn’t be more intimate. Stream the performance below.
