Sophie Madeleine is no stranger to performing cover songs on YouTube. Fresh from her “30 Days, 30 Covers” series this past summer, the talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist is at it again. Leading up to her new release The Rhythm You Started, we brought you her covers of Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” and The Chiffon’s “One Fine Day.”

U.K. folk-pop artist Liam Blake stopped by Madeleine’s YouTube studio and the pair recorded a sweet, melodious version of Del Shannon‘s “Runaway.” The oft-covered song was a number-one Billboard hit in 1961. Sophie mentions this is the first duet in a series featuring guest musician friends, so make sure to subscribe to her channel for plenty of that ukulele goodness.
